After earning his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School (Chicago) in 1989, he completed an Internal Medicine internship and Ophthalmology residency at the University of Iowa, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science. In addition, he completed fellowships in Neuro-ophthalmology and clinical Neuro-electrophysiology at Iowa.

Before leaving academics in 1998 to establish his surgical practice at Eye Care Physicians & Surgeons, Dr. Neahring served for two years as a Clinical Fellow Associate in both the departments of Ophthalmology and Neurology at the University of Iowa. Dr. Neahring has also served as president of Marion-Polk Medical Society from 2004 to 2006.

Dr. Stice is an active member of the Salem medical community, having served as President of the Marion-Polk Medical Society. He supports the Salem Free Clinic and project access. 

Dr. Stice graduated with a degree in Chemistry from Wake Forest University in North Carolina in 1988. He completed his medical doctorate and Internal Medicine internship at the Medical University of South Carolina. His eye residency and associateship followed at the University of Iowa, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science. 
 

Joining Eye Care in 2003, Dr. Warner utilizes the latest technology in glaucoma evaluation and laser treatment. He is an active member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

After graduating from Brigham Young University in 1993, he attended Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Warner completed his ophthalmology training at the University of Iowa’s highly ranked Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, where he received the P.J. Leinfelder award for his research regarding intraocular lens calculations for cataract surgery.
 

Dr. Bingham is one of a select group of surgeons who are members of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). His research has been presented at numerous national and international meetings and published in peer-reviewed journals.

After graduating from Dartmouth Medical School in 2006, Dr. Bingham completed two years of general surgery residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Later he completed a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Texas in San Antonio where he was selected by his peers and professors to serve as Chief Resident. Dr. Bingham then completed a two-year ASOPRS-approved fellowship in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery at West Virginia University where he also instructed residents and medical students as a Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology at the WVU School of Medicine.

Dr. Bingham joined Eye Care in 2013. He lives in Salem with his wife and five children.

Dr. Erickson is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care to help his patients achieve optimal eye health and vision.

Born and raised in Salem and Tualatin, Oregon, Dr. Erickson received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and graduated Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where he earned both the Humanism in Medicine award and early induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.

Dr. Erickson completed his ophthalmology training at the prestigious University of Washington Eye Institute in Seattle, where he received extensive training in both medical and surgical eye care. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Erickson is also a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Cornea Society, and an associate fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Erickson is proud to serve the community he grew up in and is passionate about helping his patients maintain and improve their vision. In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their two young children.

After receiving his undergraduate degree from Occidental College (summa cum laude), he joined the Medical Scientist Training Program at Washington University for his combined MD-PhD degrees. He completed his ophthalmology residency training at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), followed by a glaucoma fellowship at the University of Iowa. Prior to joining Eye Care Physicians & Surgeons, Dr. Tehrani was Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at OHSU in Portland.

Dr. Tehrani’s research interests include the cellular and molecular mechanisms of glaucoma, patient outcomes after eye surgery, and screening for vision loss and glaucoma using the latest detection modalities. His research findings have been published in The Journal of the American Medical Association, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, and Scientific Reports – Nature.

Raised in Salem, Dr. Paluska graduated from Oregon State University in 1988 with a Bachelor’s degree in General Science. He then attended Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove where he received his Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Paluska has practiced at Eye Care since 1994.

Dr. Harrington graduated from the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1993. He then attended Pacific University where he earned the degree of Doctor of Optometry in 1997. Dr. Harrington completed his residency training at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. 

Having grown up in the Rocky Mountain region, followed by his move to the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Harrington and his wife decided to continue the adventure by moving to Phoenix, Arizona for a stay in the desert. After six years of practicing Optometry and enjoying the hiking and travel opportunities there, Dr. Harrington and his wife missed the Pacific Northwest and returned in 2004 when he joined Eye Care Physicians & Surgeons. Dr. Harrington continues to accept new patients and works closely with the surgeons at ECPS to coordinate care for cataract surgery and other specialized needs.

Dr. Morris attended Oregon State University and Indiana University School of Optometry. His education included externships at the Eye Institute of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah and the Indianapolis Eye Care Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was awarded the Outstanding Associate Instructor of the Year in 1990 in the field of Clinical Optics. Dr. Morris received his Optometry Doctorate in 1991.

Dr. Morris is married with two grown daughters and resides in Keizer. He enjoys trips to the Cascade Mountains and the Oregon Coast.

Raised in Vancouver, Canada, Dr. Rebecca Chung received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology with Honours from the University of British Columbia. She then attended Pacific University College of Optometry, where she graduated with her Doctor of Optometry degree as Valedictorian, having also earned the highest written board exam score in her class.

Dr. Chung went on to complete the Medical Contact Lens Fellowship at Casey Eye Institute, Oregon Health & Science University where she received advanced training in fitting specialty contact lenses to rehabilitate the vision and eye health in patients of all ages affected by corneal injury, disease or surgery complications. Her expertise lies in hard-to-fit cases for such conditions as keratoconus, irregular corneas from scarring or laser surgery, corneal transplants, high astigmatism and severe dry eyes.

Her personal need to wear glasses from a young age has also driven her clinical interest in slowing the progression of myopia or nearsightedness in children today. Dr. Chung is experienced in prescribing myopia control treatments that include orthokeratology and MiSight® 1 Day contact lenses.

Dr. Chung is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a distinction achieved by less than 10% of optometrists nationwide for upholding the highest standards of professional competence. She is also a Fellow of the Scleral Lens Education Society, a designation given to proven scleral lens fitters by experts in the field. Dr. Chung has presented on the topic of specialty contact lenses at multiple national optometry conferences. In her free time, she enjoys Zumba, traveling to eat, and hiking through the Pacific Northwest with her husband, Andy.
